There was no release in August 2026, so the dashed stretch only joins the releases either side of it; it is not a reading. Foundayo had no UK prices in July 2026, so its line starts at 100 in September 2026, the first release with its prices. It joins the headline index from the November 2026 release. A medicine's line can move because the pharmacies counted change from month to month, not only because prices change. Each release lists the pharmacies it counted.
What the October 2026 release shows
For each dose, the median is the middle advertised monthly price across the pharmacies whose price counts this month. The spread is the gap between the cheapest and the dearest for the same dose, in the same month.

Foundayo was licensed by the MHRA on 10 August 2026. We collect its prices under the same rules, and 16 pharmacies had a price that counts this month. These figures are published so you can see them. They are not in the basket, so they do not change the index value or the basket cost. Why, and when that changes, is set out in the methodology.

Why you can check this
- The method is published in full and versioned, including what counts as a price and how we handle offers.
- Every price counted in the October 2026 release links to the pharmacy page it came from, with the month it was read. That is not true of every July 2026 price: some were taken from comparison sites or search results instead, as the July 2026 corrections explain.
- This page earns nothing from any pharmacy listed. Healthcount does have commercial relationships with some pharmacies on other pages, disclosed in our affiliate disclosure.
- What we could not read this month is listed on the release, with the date it was last read, rather than quietly dropped.

Why this is UK only, for now
The index covers UK online pharmacies because that is where we have enough coverage to publish a median honestly. The method sets a bar: a dose needs several independent pharmacies before a middle value means anything, otherwise one provider changing its price moves the whole headline.
Ireland and the United States do not clear that bar yet. Our Irish data covers two pharmacies, and the US market runs on published list prices and copay programmes rather than comparable advertised pharmacy prices, which is a different measurement problem rather than a smaller version of the same one. Extending the index means building the collection for those markets first. Until then we would rather publish one index we can defend than three we cannot.
