Voy is an online health service run by Menwell Ltd, which used to trade as Manual. Alongside weight management it covers hair loss, sexual health, menopause and other men's and women's health services. Prescriptions come from a separate prescribing service regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and Voy's own pharmacy in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, dispenses them.
Menwell Limited owns two registered pharmacies on the same business park in Wallingford: Voy Pharmacy (9012909), which is the one Voy's website names, and Manual Pharmacy (9012134). Both were registered when we checked the GPhC register on 9 October 2026. Voy Pharmacy's entry is marked as subject to notices or conditions, which is the improvement notice described below.
How the consultation works
You fill in an online assessment about your health, lifestyle and medical history, and Voy's prescribers decide whether you're eligible. Voy's guide to its approval process, updated on 9 July 2026, says it may ask for photo ID, plus a full-length photo, a short video call or a letter from your GP or pharmacy so a prescriber can confirm your height and weight. It says most prescriptions are approved within 24 hours once everything is in, and it asks for a weight update at least every 6 months. The GPhC's 2026 inspections questioned how independent those checks are, and there's more on that below.
Delivery and support
Delivery: Voy's weight-loss page lists free next-day delivery in discreet packaging.
Support: Phone support on weekdays, email (Voy aims to reply within 24 hours) and messages in the Voy app, which is also where you track progress and manage orders.
Good to know
- On 11 September 2026 the GPhC issued Voy Pharmacy with an improvement notice, a formal enforcement step under the Pharmacy Order 2010. The GPhC's summary says it had received concerns about the pharmacy's advertising, and about supplies to people whose medical history hadn't been properly checked or independently verified. The notice requires the pharmacy to make sure the prescribers it works with independently verify what people tell them, and to bring all its advertising, online and offline, in line with medicines law and the advertising rules. The deadline was 9 October 2026, and the GPhC listed the outcome as ongoing when we checked that day.
- The GPhC inspected Voy Pharmacy in March 2026 and again on 11 August 2026, and both times found that not all standards were met. In August it found the pharmacy still couldn't show that all its prescribers independently verify what people tell them, and that it did detailed clinical checks on only a sample of prescriptions. It also found that a first-month discount on one prescription-only treatment could encourage people to start a plan that may not suit them, even though a prescriber still has to approve it. Manual Pharmacy, the company's other pharmacy, met all standards at its last inspection in October 2024.
- The ASA has upheld three rulings against Menwell Ltd trading as Voy: a paid Google ad (17 September 2025), four Instagram ads (11 February 2026) and three emails (27 May 2026). Each found that the ads promoted prescription-only medicines to the public. The May ruling also found the emails were socially irresponsible, because they created an undue sense of urgency for people thinking about weight-loss treatment.
- Voy sells treatment as plans, and its weight-loss page says you can cancel at the end of your plan. Check how long the plan runs before you pay.
- Voy is listed in our price comparison, which is unpaid editorial. Healthcount has no commercial relationship with Voy, and nothing on this page is paid for.
